 Hi, I'm Rob Hale, president and owner of Travel-N-Relax Inc. It is my pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce myself. |
At Travel N Relax my mission is to create unforgettable “hassle free” customized escapes for each of our guests. To achieve this, education and background are vital to me so that your needs can be overseen by someone who is knowledgeable, dynamic, capable and helpful.
To that end, to introduce myself, my degree is a BSBA from the University of Denver with an emphasis in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM).
With that degree, I officially began my career with the Walt Disney World Resort where I worked both “onstage” and “backstage” positions. My career in travel actually began on a call center floor with the Walt Disney Travel Company, working with travel agents booking Disney vacations!
In addition to my Disney work history, I have also worked with several other major tourism companies including Yellowstone National Park, and Hotels.com among others. On August 2, 2004 Travel N Relax officially opened strictly selling Disney vacations. It has since expanded to what you see here today.
Altogether I have an extensive 19 year background in the travel industry.
I believe that education should always be ongoing and therefore I have since continued with extensive ongoing travel studies.
These studies include various Lifestyle and Destination Specialist courses which provide in-depth training on various "niche" travel areas, as well as on the destinations that we service. I also hold Certified Travel Associate (CTA) and Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designations which allow me to service you with greater efficiency, expanded geographical knowledge and fine-tuned customer service skills. I feel it is valuable to remain current in the industry, and I participate regularly in industry conferences and trade shows as well as destination visits that allow me a firsthand knowledge of the many global locations that we serve.
I am also active in industry and community organizations including the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) - the world's largest association of travel professionals; the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) - the travel industry's leading national trade association representing independent travel professionals (and which is also an affiliate of ASTA) and the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN) -a national organization that connects independent travel agents with additional educational programs and opportunities.
As a member of the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain chapter of ASTA, I am pleased to serve as your voice to the national travel community.
